About me

I’m Jaimy de Hon, a photographer who tries to capture real, unposed moments, whether I’m out in the wild, on the streets, or traveling.

With a background in engineering and marketing, I combine technical know-how with a creative mindset in everything I do. As B2B Sector Manager at Sony Benelux I get to work with the latest Sony cameras and lenses, constantly sharpening my technical skills and creativity along the way.

Go-to kit: Sony

Alpha 1 II

300mm F2.8 GM

To capture unique wildlife moments, it's important to be able to respond quickly. That's why I prefer a high-resolution full frame camera with incredible Autofocus.

Go-to kit: Sony

Alpha 7 CR

35mm F1.4 GM

or RX1R III

My favourite approach for street photography is to be discrete, not disturbing the moment to capture the true essence of life on the streets of cities across the world.

Go-to kit: Sony

Alpha 7 RV

20-70mm G

50mm F1.4 GM

Exploring different places around the world makes me want to learn more about different cultures, and to capture a new culture you need to really understand it first.
